Alastair is passionate about freshness and local sourcing of food.
Alastair's favourite dishes are typically seafood. 'Nothing fancy, just good fresh fish'. This includes local lobster and salmon from Berwick or Eyemouth cod and haddock. It's hard to better steam foil cooking fresh fish with citrus fruits and fresh herbs from the garden. He only uses natural ingredients.
