Queen's Head Hotel Access Statement
Access Statement
At the Queen's Head Hotel, we aim to fulfil all our customers needs and requirements. Please find below a statement of facilities we can and can not provide.
We are a small Hotel in the historical town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, located just off the main street at the bottom of the hill, although we are very central there are a number of hills in the town, so walking can be difficult, but there are taxis available to help you around the town, (which are reasonably priced).
We don’t have private parking at the hotel and at the front of the hotel, parking is only any one hour in the day (60p) if you have a disabled badge there aren’t any restrictions, there is another car park 100 yards from the hotel, which is fairly flat, but cobbled and costs £3.60 for the day.

We have a ramp available for wheelchair access into the bar, but unfortunately we do not have any down stairs toilets. The toilets are on the first floor, to the ladies there are six steps a left turn another six steps then a very small step and one step into the toilet. The gentlemen's toilet is also up six steps, a turn to the right and five steps and then a step into the toilet.
Although we do not accept dogs into the hotel, we do welcome any form of guide dog, i.e. for the blind or deaf, when people wish to dine with us or just to have a drink.
